Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. No new guides or site updates. Been busy with school and a move across the country. I live in Colorado now!
I’m free for the summer and need to work on my portfolio. I thought a good project would be redesigning Kevin’s Guides.
It’s going to be a bit more streamlined and boring looking, but that should make it more attractive to potential employers, and hopefully help with some accessibility issues and other inconsistencies.
I’ve decided to remake the site with WordPress. This is a large departure from my usual Joomla-centric workflow, so we’ll see how it goes. I love Joomla, but I do feel like it’s slowly dying. So it might be time for me to get more experience with more mainstream technologies. 🙁
I will continue experimenting with Joomla, publishing documentation on it, and update my extensions for the foreseeable future!
